HOW TO HAVE A HOWLING HOWL O WEEN

Walking the dog isn’t some sort of newfangled idea. Bringing your pet with you to a whole night of trick or treating isn’t entirely new either. However, not all homes prepare some treats for your little fur ball. Here are some helpful tricks for your fur babies to be comfortable and happy when trick or treating. This way you and your pet will have a howling howl o ween.

  1. HALLOWEEN COSTUME

Not all pets would go bananas wearing costumes. Most of the time, you have to warm them up and make them feel comfortable wearing these clothes. While others may last wearing these cute outfits, other pets are satisfied with a simple bow tie. Make sure that the one that they are strutting in makes them feel at ease. That way, the night would be a breeze.

  1. PET SAFETY

There have been cases of candy poisoning for a lot of pets during Halloween. Candies are never good for your pets so make sure that none of the kids hand them these sweets. Keep an eye on your pets as you don’t want them to reach into any of these sugary treats.

Since we’re on the talk of safety, see to it that your jack o’ lanterns are placed outside or any of your Halloween décor are out of your pets’ reach.

  1. SAFE SPACE

Halloween can be very overwhelming for your pets. New scents, strangers, noise can be unbearable so always create a quiet time for these babies when you feel that they are starting to get stressed. This will help them feel safe. Never push them to keep going when they feel threatened or frightened in a new place.
