Each month E.C.O Events likes to take some time to highlight business owners and businesses that exemplify excellence in their craft. This month we are highlighting home.made, a small catering business that is making big waves in the local community.  

Mimi Maumas is the owner/chef at home.made, which is located in Athens, Georgia.  The business was a dream that eventually became a reality and soon blossomed, from solely a catering business into a restaurant that offers lunch and dinner. They also offer a beautiful small and large event space for private functions.

Since its inception, home.made has earned numerous accolades to include winning “Taste of Athens,” winning best caterer in the Flagpole and Athens Banner Herald, and being recently voted Athens’ Favorite new restaurant by locals.

At home.made it is not just about the food, but about the experience. They aim to offer each customer a unique, memorable, and home-like experience by creating inventive twists on classics, while also serving traditional foods as they were intended. They pride themselves on using the highest quality ingredients which are sourced from local community farms.
