TIPS TO LIGHT UP YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE
Spiraling down a string of lights around a Christmas tree might be the easiest and most popular way to light it up. Except that when you truly want to master the art of illuminating a Christmas tree, there is more to just wrapping fairy lights around it.
How do you want your Christmas tree to sparkle? Do you want a subtle glow as if the pulsating lights are whispering something magical? Or would you want your tree to razzle dazzle like a glorious apparition such as the burning bush? Below are tips to light up your Christmas tree.
- SUBTLE GLOW
After carefully selecting which type of light would go best with your tree – whether it is incandescent, LED or globe lights, check if it is working before starting to dress your tree with it.
Remember that the more lights you use, the brighter it is. So for the subtle glow, a few strands of light to cover the trunk should give you the mood lighting you are going for.

- MODERATE LIGHTING
Putting lights around the tree how you do a maypole would sometimes tend to push the lights back in. You can wrap them around the branches to avoid them getting from out of place.

- RAZZLE DAZZLE
Try to invest in copper wire lights for cleaner and brighter lights. When you have a 6 foot tree, use around 40 boxes of 50 light strands and wrap the lights on each branch until you cover the whole tree with lights.
